Knee High Boots and a Floral Romper
While headed to dinner one night recently we stopped to take a some photos even though we were very nearly out of daylight. I was wearing an Auguste Romper, Zara Knee-High boots and bag, a coin necklace, silver bracelet, chunky turquoise ring and sunnies from HelFyre.
It seems like my hubby should maybe brush up on his night photography skills. I am pretty darn obsessed with this floral romper though! If you haven’t yet heard of Auguste you definitely need to check them out as they have some gorgeous things. They are actually a lot like Spell & the Gypsy Collective but maybe a little more wallet friendly. We have 3 of these babies left in a 2, 4 and 6 and if you love it as much as I do, they are also 30% off with code JUNE30.
I have been a very absent blogger lately and for that I apologize though you can always find me on Instagram where today I hit the 15K follower mark. Yay! Things have been hectic since opening the online store in March, I mean I basically gave myself a full-time job which I haven’t had in some time so blogging it was! Anyways, no more empty promises about blogging more and what not because the truth of the matter is I blog when I have time, I don’t have a blogging or editorial calendar because even if I did I would never stick to it. But I hope y’all will stick around with me anyways! Just make sure you’re following me on Bloglovin’. That’s the site I use to keep up with all my favorite blogs since it automatically pulls in the newest post from every blog I follow (which is some crazy amount BTW, like 850!) Obviously I can’t keep up with all of them, if I did I would spend that time blogging instead!
So I might as well tell you now in case I disappear again but this week is going to be awesome! First up, tomorrow morning at 10 am I am getting a hair makeover from this awesome local salon called Salon U. They are featured in Elle Magazine’s annual Top 100 Salons in the US. It was actually the first place I went when I moved here to Birmingham. though just for a cut. Tomorrow morning or more likely by the time you read this I’m either doing something drastic or something different but without changing too much since I want to grow my hair and definitely grow these bangs back out. If you follow me on Instagram you should have an idea of which look I’m leaning towards. I will be documenting the entire experience and will do a blog post with before, during and after shots.
And last but certainly not least this weekend I will be attending my first ever blogging conference, the Southern Blog Society has done one once a year for the past three and I couldn’t be more excited! This year it’s being held in the beautiful Charlotte, SC though with what just happened may put a damper on things. I swear, this country is going mad, but I’m not even going to get into that. Positivity, right? I will be sure to take lots of notes and photos so I can share all I learned and what we did. Alright, that is it for now since I have to be up in 5 hours, wish me luck that my hair turns out just as I hope!
