New App Alert – Picpal –
Happy Thursday! Today I wanted to tell you about a new app that I have been recently introduced to called Picpal. If you want to see what your friends are up to right now, no matter where they live, with Picpal you can create a single picture collage. You sign in with your Facebook account and invite your friends to join you. To create a collage you press ‘Start’ and invite 1-3 friends for your collage. In my case, I invited some fashion blogger friends from my Facebook group InstaStyle Society (you have to be a fashion or beauty blogger to join) to create fashion focused collages. Click to see more…

The first photo you saw was three of us just doing a regular old selfie. Above we went for a #FromWhereIStand type collage, each of us showing off our shoes. In the collage below Olivia and I went for the ever popular Flat Lay. Point being, anything and everything you can imagine, you and your friends can make into a collage no matter the distance between you.

And that’s not all, after you take your photo there are so many options for editing. You can enhance the photo taking it to hi-def, or depending on your subject matter use the scenery, food, portrait, or night enhancements. There are a bunch of fun filters that are adjustable as well as the ability to crop the photo if need be. You can also adjust the saturation, warmth, tint, brightness, contrast, highlights, shadows, sharpness and fade of the photo to get it just the way you like. Oh, I’m not done yet, you can also doodle on the photo in different colors, adjust red-eye, whiten your chompers, cover blemishes, blur (which is perfect for making your complexion just about perfect!), and one of my favorites, the vignette tool. You can make it black or white and adjust exactly where you would like it. Whew! I mean, that is an amazing amount of options! Once your collage is complete you can send it to a friend, save it to your images and share it on Facebook or Instagram.
If Picpal sounds like something you would like to add to your social media apps, and I highly suggest it, you can find it here if you are an iPhone user and here if you are an Android lover. Also, if you would like to see a short video explanation of the app then check out this super cute birthday video.
