Olien Body Coconut Sugar Scrub + 2 Giveaways

Olien BodySo one thing I make sure to take care of before taking a trip to the beach is making sure my self-tan is on point. This year though things were so hectic I brought a couple new favorite tanning necessities with me including my new favorite beach accessory, a Hammam Turkish Towel. I have one from Axii in gray but they also carry all these gorgeous colors like aqua, bordeaux and lilac but they are about to do some restocking and it looks like they have one left in aqua. Who’s grabbing it?! I love it because it’s so much more than a towel, it’s a scarf, a sarong, a yoga blanket, the list goes on. Anyway, I just had to mention the beauty above and now we’ll talk about the beauty below. The gorgeous tan that I made sure to apply in Florida.

I was recently introduced to an awesome product by Olien Body. They make Coconut Sugar Scrubs with a different ingredient/ scent added to their scrubs. For example I got Lavender which is relaxing and stress-reducing plus it has the “scent of fresh-picked lavender flowers combined with virgin coconut oil, sugar and lanolin” but the other options are Citrus, Eucalyptus, Orange Creme, Vanilla and Vanilla Mint. If you don’t know what lanolin is don’t worry, I didn’t ether, so I looked it up on good old Wikipedia! According to the source ” Lanolin alcohols are a rich source of cholesterol (an important skin lipid) and are powerful water-in-oil emulsifiers; they have been used extensively in skin care products for over 100 years.[1] Notably, approximately 40% of the acids derived from lanolin are alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs)”. So there we have it, a sort-of explanation but if anyone can tell me in layman’s terms what it is feel free to enlighten us in the comments.
Olien Body Now back to my tanning ritual, I like to gently exfoliate first and that my friend’s is the great thing about Olien Body. Besides being 100% Organic, it’s the most delicious – you want to eat it with a spoon – smelling body exfoliant. Spread that goo-y goodness all over, maybe refrigerate it first so it doesn’t get all melty on you and then once you are fully exfoliated add a bit extra to the knees, feet and elbows as a moisturizer before applying your preferred form of self-tanner. We don’t go through all this work for a splotchy tan, am I right? There are so many amazing benefits to Olien Body so excuse some more but this company is based right here in the USA, how cool! That’s why they are being so kind and generous to give one of you lucky peeps your own jar of any Coconut Body Therapeutic Scrub of your choice. Just scroll to the very bottom to enter. I have my fingers crossed for you because you will be moisturizing, stimulating growth cells, exfoliating and using this baby as a makeup remover, I promise, you will love it!
Now just a quick mention of the tanner I used here. It’s by Skinny Tan and I went with the Body Mousse. Used with a self-tanning mitt it goes on perfectly and smoothly after using Olien Body. Plus it has a tint so you can see where you are applying it. As you ca see my tan turned out perfectly thanks to the use of Olien Body and Skinny Tan. Now don’t forget to enter the giveaway for a chance to win your very own tub of Olien Body!
