Pattern Mixing or Busy Bee

blouse: Show Me Your Mumu, shorts: Three Floor, sandals and bag: Zara

So sorry for the blog silence but things have been pretty hectic around here lately. I’ve been on some interviews (with a couple call-backs. I’ll let you know as soon as I do), I moved to Homewood, I’ve been playing kickball, meeting blogger friends, having a local photographer take some blog photos for me (coming soon), and preparing for Thursday’s Free People (FP ME) shoot. Plus this weekend I have a blogger conference which I’m really looking forward to (Bloganista Mini-Con, only 6 tickets left!). The new apartment complex I moved to is in an excellent location. So much better than where I lived my first year in Birmingham not realizing it was the worst spot to live in this town. It was only bad because of the traffic really but Homewood is a great area and central to pretty much everything good in Bham. As for kickball, we’ve played 6 games and got our first tie! We lost all the others :(. I bought a super cute Bless’ed Are The Meek romper and wanted to take some good pictures in it, so my new friend Brad, who happens to be a photographer, took some photos at Railroad Park and I can’t wait to show them to you. And last but not least, Thursday should be really fun! Free People contacted me and asked if I’d like to be a part of a shoot they’re doing here in Birmingham. Obviously I jumped at the chance, so basically we are to meet at the store and then we are going to three different locations around Birmingham. It’s a whole day thing and if allowed I’ll definitely take some pics for the blog. So I have some fun things coming up and can’t wait to share! Talk soon!
