As you may have noticed my blogging has been very inconsistent even though I have so many photo shoots from fashion to beauty to fitness, etc. just sitting in my photo folders dating all the way back to 2014 that haven’t made it onto the blog for reasons unknown. So starting today is Flashback Friday. We are starting with this outfit I photographed on October 22, 2014 but is still very relevant today. With this outfit I can show you how to start transitioning to Spring within your wardrobe. Plus, these amazing boots? Still for sale in 9 different colors, two and a half years later. They are that popular!
I love March, the weather starts to slowly heat up and if you live in the South like I do then you likely have wacky weather. It can go from the 40’s to the 70’s and back again in a week. That’s where transitioning into Spring comes in. You wear pieces that you love and keep around all-year-long with the exception of a few cool weather items for when the chill hits. For example, for day I wore a thin turtleneck but at night added a leather vest over the top. These Jeffrey Campbell boots are so cool all year long but when the sun went down I added a pair of OTK socks to keep my legs extra toasty.
Wearing a simple black turtleneck and studded leather brown shorts from H&M with the best boots ever, the Jeffrey Campbell for Free People Joe OTK Boots. I accessorized with a brown fedora, Zara handbag (same bag in my Poshmark shop) and sunglasses by Triple Graces.
