Have You Tried the TRESemme Beauty-Full Volume Collection? –
Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a fabulous week and a great start to April! Today I am partnering with TRESemmé to share with you an exciting way to wash and condition your hair for lots of volume (especially useful if your hair falls flat, or is thin and/or fine like my own) using their brand new revolutionary hair system. Think I’m exaggerating? Continue on to read about my experience with the TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume collection as a fine-haired lady.
Next up, you can actually shampoo your hair! The TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Shampoo is also safe to use on colored hair and when you suds up it’s gentle and actually helps achieve volume by removing excess weight. Plus it leaves a very light layer of the conditioning ingredients and gives it extra bounciness!
Step 3 is about using products to ‘Create” your style so it actually consists of using two different products. The first, a TRESemmé “Hero” product is called the Beauty-Full Volume Hair Maximizer which has Fleximax Volumizers and Fiber Polishing Actives. No wonder they call it the “Hero” product because this one was actually my favorite of the 5 in the collection. It comes in a squeeze tube and has the consistency of a cream to help smooth, fight frizz and make your hair manageable. I love this because when you first start using the Beauty-Full Volume system conditioning before shampooing takes some getting used to and this baby makes your hair feel nice and silky without weighing it down.
The second part of step 3 is mousse. But not just any old mousse, it’s the TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Touchable Bounce Mousse. It comes is a can that at first glance looks like hairspray but after a good shake comes out as, you guessed it! Mousse. This product also uses Fleximax Volumizers which after blow-drying makes your hair touchable and bouncy! It does this by giving a light hold and creating lift at the roots so that is where I recommend applying it. First at the roots and then comb through to the ends. I haven’t done a tutorial on this yet but I should because back when I was doing hair I was the Queen of blow-outs! For some tips check out this video and this one. So when you blow dry grab your round brush, some clips and (obvi) your hair dryer. If you have bangs start there otherwise start at the nape of your neck and clip everything else out of the way. Blow-dry on hot but not scorching and be sure to hold the dryer a good 6 inches away from your hair to prevent frying those lovely locks. Run through your strands with the round brush until it’s 100% dry and before putting down the brush hold down the cool shot button to give the hairstyle extra staying power. Continue in sections.
Once you are finished with your blowout you move onto the final step 4: Hold. The last product in the system is the TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Flexible Finish Hairspray. This hairspray is awesome because it holds the style without giving you helmet head and it provides a professional-like flexible finish with brushable softness. I used all 5 products in these shots and was pleasantly surprised that this system works like a charm! What do you think? Will you try these babies for yourself?
