Today I have another video for you. This one is a beach wave hair tutorial or at least how I achieve mine. I have the ombre color going on, yes I still heart it! So I started with the brand new product, the John Frieda Sheer Blonde® Go Blonder In-Shower Lightening Treatment followed by the Lightening Shampoo and Conditioner to help brighten the blond in my hair which I think it totally did.
Above are the three products I used in the shower prior to blow-drying my hair and then recording the below video for you. After using these three Go Blonder products and then curling my hair into beach waves, the effect made the blonde pieces more vibrant. But like I may have mentioned in my last video tutorial I am still new at making videos so don’t judge me too harshly but by watching it, you should at least learn how it is that I curl my hair to achieve beach waves.
Now I would like to tell you a bit more about these products from John Frieda. As you can see in the photo below, there is a special end-cap display going on at Target stores now through March 5th. If you purchase three John Frieda products like the ones above you will receive a $5 Target gift card, yay!
Anyway, back to the products themselves. These John Frieda products are great for subtly enhancing your color. If you don’t want to make a major change and you have blonde hair (or blonde in your hair) then these will help brighten and lighten that blonde within a few minutes in the shower. So no timely trips to the salon if you are looking for something fast and easy. For the In-Shower Lightening treatment, you apply it before doing anything else on wet hair and let it sit for five minutes. It will soften your dark roots and brighten the blonde by one shade, plus it’s non-damaging and safe to use on color-treated hair. I followed the Lightening Treatment with the Go Blonder Shampoo and Conditioner which if used regularly can gradually lighten your hair up to two shades
What did you think of my video? Would you try one of these John Frieda sets to subtly enhance your own color?
