His and Her Style – St. Andrews –
Time for another His and Her Style post and we have more coming so I hope you guys enjoy them (please tell me if you don’t)! Chandler and I took a trip to Florida in February to see the in-laws and while we were there we took the kids to a Mardi Gras parade in St. Andrews. Such a gorgeous area and to give you an idea of the amount of beads we brought home, take a peek at the last photo. Jaxon’s looking crazy cute huh? Anyway, we took advantage of the beautiful backdrop to take photos for a his and her style post and let me tell you, I definitely have a thing for Chandler in khaki pants rolled at the ankles. It’s what he was wearing the first time we met. Well, those and a pair of Elton John look-a-like sunglasses. 🙂
I am so in love with this Bec & Bridge dress. The length, the stripes, the slit. Spring perfection! I actually borrowed it from a friend and now I can’t find it anywhere! I am so sad. I need this dress in my closet, I’m sure you’ve been there. So if any of you reading this has one ready to sell or knows where I can find it, please tell me!
Chandler received these pants to review and even though we had never heard of the brand before they turned out to be one of his new favorite pair of pants. They are your basic khaki, chinos but he wears them so well and they fit even better now that he’s put on 30 lbs of muscle. Ooh baby! But that’s another post coming very soon. Don’t you just hate people who have trouble putting on the weight?
I am also really digging the choker look that we have all been seeing everywhere as of late. I want to say Danielle Bernstein, the fashion blogger brought this look back but please correct me if I am wrong. Speaking of, I have been a follower of her blog We Wore What for years, I may even go as far and say since she was a newbie, and boy has her style evolved. I know we all have, especially if you are a blogger and have photo evidence (it’s so, so bad!), but she is killing it these days! Anyways, back to the choker. Well what you see around my neck is actually a piece of black ribbon tied in the back. I have since purchased at least two actual choker necklaces, but this was quick and cheap as hell. Also I am so in love with this bolo tie necklace I’m wearing by Child of Wild. I’m not even sure when it was for sale since I purchased it from a girl on Poshmark in January, but I do know I want more! I found one that’s very similar here on Amazon for less than $15 though!
She’s wearing: Levi’s denim jacket, Bec & Bridge dress (sold out but here’s a similar option and here), Zara heels (very similar), Lanvin sunglasses (use code ‘handbag’ for your first month free!), Child of Wild Bolo Tie (similar)
