Minted for Mother’s Day – Happy Sunday! So there’s only one week left until the day that celebrates Mother’s everywhere. Have you gotten your mom anything yet? I know I haven’t (sorry Mom!). I am a procrastinator in most things but these days, there are (thank God) websites like Minted that help take some of the pressure off.
Minted is a very cool site. If you are an artist, it helps get your work out there. If you are a buyer you can see and buy the work of people from all over the world! 43 countries to be exact! Minted is a design marketplace that has challenges you can enter every month, the people vote (as in you or me or your Uncle Jerry) and Minted produces and sells the winners! After an artist has won a challenge they can open a store on Minted and basically run a small business. It’s crowdsourcing at its best!

Minted offers more than prints as well. They have everything from gifts and wrapping paper to stationary and day planners. You can also “favorite” your favorites and make a gallery wall to get an idea of how your prints will look hanging together. That was one of my favorite features to play around with. As you can see by these photos I put some together already and even ended up taking a print home that I decided to have them frame for me. Speaking of framing, you have options there as well. I ended up with the “Aria” print you see in one of the photos below and I had the option of multiple sizes unframed or framed. I decided to get it framed, because although it costs more I knew I would never go to a frame shop plus they have a bunch of options from White Premium Wood to Antique Filigree. I decided on the Black Premium Wood and am so excited to get it. I am currently in Florida and the painting was delivered yesterday but I’ll be home tonight and posting on Instagram so you can see my beautiful new piece of art! They also offer ground to overnight shipping so be sure to check out Minted for your Mother’s Day gift!
