With so many skin care lines out there how do you choose which one is best for you? Trial and error? Cost? Beautiful packaging? I have tried out different collections with high, medium and low price points. Today I want to introduce you to the Vine Vera Vitamin C collection. I have only recently heard this brand but their products are beyond amazing. They also have many collections but I chose to go with the Vitamin C because it’s known to help with pigmentation and it protects against the damage we face on a day-to-day basis. So in this series of posts I am starting with the highest price line and will be working my way down. I will tell you about a line no matter the cost only if I truly believe it to be above par and what you would want in your own skin care products. Now let me introduce you to the Vine Vera Vitamin C collection.
First of all, how beautiful is this packaging? Each box is very sturdy and has a magnet in it so it stays closed. I just love the way it opens, is that weird? I just felt like I had to mention it because when you think of higher priced items you almost expect the packaging to be just as decadent as the products themselves.
The Vine Vera Vitamin C collection consists of five products but I haven’t tried the Lip Balm which is supposed to be amazing at hydrating and smoothing chapped lips. Perfect for this time of year. Every Vine Vera collection does have one thing in common and that is an ingredient called Resveratrol. Resveratrol just happens to be one of the best antioxidants you can find. A compound found in the skin of red grapes and red wine. Many studies have been done and it helps with anti-aging and antioxidants that help prevent skin damage and it boosts collagen in your skin. You can read more about this miracle ingredient here.
Now let’s talk about these four products starting with the Vine Vera Vitamin C Peeling. This is one of my favorites from the collection mostly because it’s fun to use and you will see results immediately. It comes in a tub and smells amazing. This product is a clear, thin gel-like substance that is recommended to be used once or twice weekly. The reason for the name is as you rub it onto your face, the ingredients go to work and it gently “peels” off the dead skin. It’s amazing to see the little balls of skin come together and then get washed away with cool water. I like to use it twice a week since I have oily skin. It can be purchased here for $176.
For everyday use I love the Vine Vera Vitamin C Cleanser. This product comes in a pump bottle and when used morning and night it washes away any trace of makeup and dirt leaving behind clean and refreshed skin. With over 50 five-star reviews you can trust me when I say this cleanser is amazing! Purchase it for yourself for $136.
After using the cleanser my next step is the Vine Vera Vitamin C Serum. Again, with over 40 five-star reviews (and nothing less) this product is the bomb (do people still say that?). Using this rich serum in the morning and at night it’s left my skin more radiant and younger looking. Also, a little goes a long way so it will last for a very long time. The serum is also helping my melasma disappear which is a dream come true! Get yours here for $246.
And the last step in the Vine Vera Vitamin C regimen is the moisturizer. It has a wonderful citrus smell and is creamy, luxurious and has vitamin C derivatives. It also feels like heaven on your skin. You can get it for $176 or the whole bundle for $838. I love this line and we all know how important taking care of our skin is so cost really shouldn’t be relevant but I know we all cannot afford these amazing higher priced products so stay tuned for my next post on another wonderful line that might just be a little easier on the pockets for some of us.
